During the off-season the Liberty announced that they would return to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn as their permanent home. A truncated 2020 season prevented what could have been another postseason run. The 2020 WNBA season was the 24th season for the New York Liberty franchise of the WNBA.The Liberty opened the regular season on Jversus the Seattle Storm. She led her team to back-to-back regular season conference championships and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2019. She also had an externship at La Universidad de Navarra, in Pamplona, Spain, where she studied under Spanish physicians about proper patient-doctor care for Spanish-speaking patients.
